Architecture of T - 2017
The Architecture of T are photographs of the urban structures of Montreal. I found the elevated roadways to exemplify a majesty, an achievement, an ideal, and began to question what that ideal may be. These concrete structures seem to impact detrimentally our natural world and keep us imprisoned from it.

Songbirds - 2017
A collage sourced from discarded fashion magazines, such as Vogue, to comment on what is natural and artificial. Using the highly stylized fashion photographs, deconstructing them into their base elements of colour, shade, patterns, and reconstituting the elements into another image. In the collages, sections are cut out from the models clothes, hair and skin as my “palette of paint” building up the image in tonal values and leaving visible the rough-cut edges to add to the layered effect.

Using the body as a canvas, this series explores our relationship with our environment and our place in it. Our thoughts, expressed through our actions create our experience. At the same time, we create and are a product of our environment. The experiences of our lives becomes part of us, etched onto our cells.
